By on January 7, 2015

Last week of 2014 was exciting because of some amazing apps that release in this week. Following is the list of some of the best apps released this week. Let’s take a look at these apps.

Google Play Books

Though Google Play Books is not brand new app but recently Google released the latest version of Google Play Books. As usual, this version is available for free and users can download it from Google Play Store if it is not already installed on their devices. Google Play Books comes with many new features and options that make the whole reading experience even better. This latest version comes with offline dictionary that allows users to select any word from any book and then see information about that.

App Swap

As you already know that Android ecosystem is very customizable and for some features, you don’t even have to root your Android device. App Swap is such an app that allows users to swap the Google Now default gesture with the app drawer. The latest version of App Swap comes with another great feature that allows users to swipe left or right to access different apps. App Swap also has in-app purchases and users can get some additional features by paying $2 for those IAP. On the other hand, App Swap app is available for free on Google Play Store.

My Tracks

My Tracks is quite a non popular app by Google. This app was not as useful because of compatibility issues but now Google has released the latest version of My Tracks that comes with support for Google Fit. This feature alone makes it a useable and useful fitness app. All you have to do is upgrade your existing My Tracks app or if your Android device does not have this app already then you can download it from Google Play Store for free. After updating to the latest version, it will automatically sync with Google Fit.

Shazam

Shazam is a well known music recognition app that allows users to identify any song. Though there are some other amazing apps available doing the same thing but Shazam is well known for its simplicity and responsiveness. Recently Shazam got an update that comes with new user interface and some other features like Spotify integration and Shazam Charts. You can also connect with your Facebook account to share songs with your Facebook friends. Amazingly this awesome app is available for free and you can download it from Google Play Store.

Hangouts

Google updated the Hangouts app this week and the latest version comes with whole new user interface with material design, more stickers with bigger size and bright colors and option to download even more sticker packs. You can update the existing version of Hangouts from Google Play Store on your device. If your Android device does not have Hangouts pre-installed then you can download it from free.

Hangouts is not that good. I really want to try another one. I mean the thing with the video is not that bad. I only like the real calls that can be made directly from one computer directly to another…. I really like using them…But what concerns messenger i use Viber a lot

My tracks is woderful app. I would like to share some more info about it. When i first started using it worked wonderful for me but, now i realized that it does not provide current and real results so I started using another app. There are many fitness apps free on google play store… I would gladly recommend Abs workout….
