By on March 5, 2014

We know Gmail (along with Pandora Radio and Whatsapp, the leaders of the app charts) is much easier than Hotmail when it comes to email service. Yet many people prefer www.Hotmail.com accounts because of several advantages it offers like built-in antivirus. For example, you get SkyDrive with lot of online storage space instantly when you create a Hotmail account. Anyhow, it is all about personal preference. This article is not a comparison among different email services, but we are here to talk about how to sign in to your Hotmail account.

Before we move any further, let me make sure we are on same page. Hotmail, Live and Outlook are same things. Microsoft offers three different domain names to its users. You can choose your desired one when signing up for a new account. Unfortunately, you cannot change that domain name after account creation. Same goes for Yahoo Account, Yahoo offers Yahoo, Ymail and Rocketmail as domain name. On the other hand, Gmail offers only one domain name.

Enter your ID and password and press enter or click on the Sign in button. It takes few seconds and from there you can see your emails. If you are signing in from your personal computer or laptop and you don’t want to enter your email address and password every time then you can choose option “keep me signed in”. But do not check this option if you are on a public computer and want to logout after using your account.

Once you select this particular option, Hotmail or Outlook website does not logout automatically. So, if you want to logout and sign in via a different account then you have to manually logout from the menu.
